My Love is different


 It was now grown up
Age was showing the youth
All the limitations were broken 
As it applied its rule.

 It was crazy for the aim 
For which none was to blame
But was too slow
For it was an angry fellow.

 This was such a stage
Which is popular as teen age.

 As soon it will attend
It will feel for a friend
At once it changed to dove
World knew it was in love.

 But its love is different
As it is in stage of student
It loved but books
The best it took
Was the way that led
Not to nights but to days.

 It crossed the worldly shrub 
And finally got its love.

Description :

 This poem is the first poem of Saket Singh. when he was in class 11th, he started writing poems both in English as well as in Hindi. Kaliyug is the first hindi poem by him. He wrote what he was experiencing and had experienced. This poem went through many changes and finally a love poem approved by elders,teachers and himself got ready.For his collection ,he made a copy where he maintained all his creations.

 This poem tells about love.But it is a bit complex as the poem deals with the Love that lies inside a love. This basically means the poem describes love as a person and how it changes with time and what are things that could have happened to a person is assumed with love. This poet tries to convey how love happens but through personification.In this poem the effect of surrounding and society can be felt, how it made to change the love accordingly.Here dove is used as a sign of peace and discipline.
